Five member committee appointed by the ministry of home affairs on may 5 has suggested amendments or creating new legislatures for judicial reforms to tackle with the hot current issues in the nation like mob lynching , marrital rapes , degree of provoke in sedition charges , degree of consensus of women in sexual activities in the offences of rapes etc.

The most hot issue which is challenged for the many times in parliament as well as in social platforms is ‘gender neutrality in the offences’. Which means to also criminalise the sexual offences against men .

The first amendment of criminal procedure code and evidence law had been first suggested by the malimath committee which is formed by the union minister lk advani in 2003.

In latest previous amendment in Indian penal code and juvenile justice [protection] act was about to reducing the age from 18 to 16 years . which means the juvenile means a juvenile child of 16 age which prior was 18 years.
